Flew the Dreamliner to/from SYD, 1st from LAX and then back from SYD to SFO. Sat in economy class and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the flight was - so much so that the Dreamliner is now my favorite flight for long haul travel. I'm quite tall (6'3") but the legroom was good and my knees didn't bang up against the seat as they do on some other UA planes. Seats don't recline much (3") but the benefit is even when the person in front of you reclines, they aren't in your face and you can watch TV or eat or get up and still be comfortable. Even though we flew the same aircraft down and back, it felt like row 33 had slightly more legroom than row 36, which we had going to SYD. I am a believer in the benefits of the Dreamliner as I arrived in SYD feeling refreshed and completely fine, and I travel to Australia quite frequently. Food was better going out of LAX than SYD, surprisingly. Entertainment had good choice but a strange mix of old movies and new, and TV - other airlines do a much better job with providing content. There were power outlets beneath the seat but didn't use them as there was a USB port on the TV screen, which was quite large. Overall this was a good an economy experience as I have had on a long-haul international flight and wouldn't hesitate to fly this aircraft again.

This is the best seat in the house, from my point of view. It’s an aisle of two middle aisle seats in the smaller 3 row section of business/first. Nearest the “generally” cleanest/largest bathroom. Service is a bit more relaxed. 3D isn’t a bad seat either though. Seats lie almost flat. The headrest keeps it up a bit. But it’s in the 5 row section. The aircraft is pretty “smooth sailing” even in the stormiest weather.

By far, the worst seat I've ever flown long haul in. 16 hours in this seat was torture as the recline was so minimal. Even paying more for "Economy Plus" did not help much. So difficult trying to sleep as I kept nodding forward due to steep incline. Nonchalant service made it even worse, the complete antithesis of the boarding announcement claiming to desire to be of service to the passengers.

The seats were not huge but comfortable enough. I thought there was enough legroom and when the person in front of you reclines it is still manageable. The nice thing about sitting in the middle section as a couple is that there is an aisle on either side so that a stranger doesn't have to step over you to get out.

well, was not best of them. But the seat may have been small, still comfortable. You know, i would actually recommend the plane to everyone. United Airlines 935 is a decent 11 hhour flight overall

Not as bad as I thought it would be but certainly not as comfortable as Air Nz 787, but great selection of movies food and drink so so.
