Is there a service offered by Allegiant Air for children traveling alone?

Allegiant Air does not offer unaccompanied minor services. Special supervision for any travelers is not offered. Allegiant Air does not accept reservations for fare-paying or pass-traveling Unaccompanied Minors or unescorted children under the age of 15 years.

How old must children be to travel alone on Allegiant Air flights?

Children 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult 15 years or older. Children between the age of 15 and 17 years old can be booked online with no extra fees. Allegiant Air assumes no responsibilities for children 15 to 17 years old beyond those applicable to adult passengers. However, Allegiant Air will not permit children under the age of 18 years old traveling alone to travel on a flight affected by severe weather conditions.

For all passengers under the age of 18 who are traveling alone, Allegiant Air requires age verification. Failure to provide proof of age will result in denied boarding. Photo identification (such as a driver license, or passport) must be issued by a state or national government.
