What is SriLankan Airlines policy with regard to checked baggage?
According to the Weight Concept, the weight of the Free Baggage Allowance is subject to SriLankan Airlines’ limitations, and you will be required to pay a charge for carriage of baggage in excess of the permitted Free Baggage Allowance. Each piece of hand baggage must weigh no more than 7 kg and measure no more than 56 x 36 x 23 cm (22 x 14 x 9 in) or a total of 115 cm (L+W+H).
In Economy Class, passengers are allowed one piece of hand baggage. In Business Class, passengers are allowed 2 pieces of hand baggage.

- One umbrella or walking stick.
- One camera or one pair of binoculars.
- Infant toiletries and infant food for in-flight consumption – one bag up to 5 kg.
